Once Upon A Time
Born amid a global lockdown, our gourmet haven was sparked by bold creativity and a dash of family fun. In the summer of 2020, Mrs. M—our visionary founder and Master of Mayhem & Merchandise—accepted a daring bet with her family: with her father's help, she would construct the Sugar Shack on a shoestring budget, proving they could do it for under $800. They took that bet to heart, and from it, our honor system home was born.
Drawing on her long history in baking, catering, and restaurant ownership, Mrs. M infused every corner of our mercantile with warmth, nostalgia, and playful innovation. Today, we delight customers nationwide and invite you to experience the magic in person—whether at our iconic Sugar Shack in Cohasset or at Sea Salted in Pembroke.
