In the summer of 2020—while the world slowed down—one woman bet her family she could build a gourmet candy shack with just $900 and a borrowed power drill. With her father by her side, they won that bet, and the Sugar Shack was born: a tiny honor-system cottage tucked in the woods, filled with sweets, storytelling, and a spark that
couldn’t be contained.
What began as a half-serious family challenge sparked something real (and delicious)
Drawing from decades of restaurant, catering and confectionery experience, Mrs. M poured warmth, irreverent elegance, and just the right amount of mischief into every corner of her growing mercantile.
